Eyyyyy! I’m Jeremiah, but everyone calls me J. Not Jay. SenYor J is my artist/producer/stage name and alias. Yes, I create music! I’m underground right now though, but I do have hopes of becoming slightly famous. I’m also in the USAF, and my contract’s up in 2015. if you ask me where I’m from, my answer will be “abroad.” I grew up in California, but I spent most of my pre-teen and high school years moving around a lot. I consider California my home, and a little place called Okinawa, Japan the place where I became me.
I’ve been creating music in some form or another since about 2002. i was a producer for a rap group in high school and kind of rapped, but I didn’t get serious about rapping until after I graduated in 2007. I started singing when I joined the Air Force in 2008. It’s all a work in progress. I refuse to be content, and I always strive to become better, faster, stronger, perfect. I also play guitar and piano.
I try to do as much as I can on my own because I find people are highly unreliable, and it helps that I have a huge interest in anything creative. I started directing music videos in the summer of 2011 and I’ve been photo editing since a friend of mine gave me Photoshop in high school. So I do all my own shit. I fucking love collaborating with people so hit me up and spread the love!
